This is another winner. Good calorie count, plenty of greens, simple and easy to make, incredibly tasty, and with the usual easy smoothie clean-up.
6 or 7 ripe bananas
1 pound of grapes
1 head of romaine lettuce
1” chunk of ginger (optional)
½ small hot pepper (optional)
The grapes go in first, followed by the ginger and hot pepper. Add the lettuce and pulse to reduce bulk so you can add the rest of the lettuce. Finally add the bananas and blend. Nice size smoothie for two people, or large meal for one. Enjoy!
