Mixing Different Vegetables

Q I have just started juicing and have been told not to mix RED and GREEN vegetables/fruits. Can you advise on this please?

A I have never heard of such a thing and can’t imagine why anyone would prescribe to that idea. Eating a wide variety of fruits and vegetables and a wide variety of different colored fruits and vegetables is important to good health. I regularly juice greens with all colors of fruits and vegetables with no adverse effects at all. In fact I feel I am much healthier for having enjoyed the foods from the different colors of the rainbow, each with their own nutrient profile.

Take a look at the many Vegetable Juicing Recipes and see what myself and others are enjoying in the way of mixed juices.

Best to you on your new journey into health and enjoy a great variety of mixed juices for your good health.
